This course highlights the critical role of reading and comprehension in shaping students' learning journeys and cultural understanding, whether engaging with physical texts or digital content. Students will practice diverse techniques such as comprehension strategies, silent reading, identifying vocabulary through context, analyzing and interpreting information, improving reading speed, and enhancing oral reading skills. Furthermore, the course empowers aspiring English teachers to establish reading clubs and facilitate intercultural dialogue by examining the similarities and differences between English and Spanish.
